KERATIN HAIR EXTENSIONS

Keratin Hair Extensions are also called U-Tip, Nail-Tip, Keratin Bond, Hot-Fusion, Pre-Bonded Extensions. Keratin extensions take their name from their keratin base tips that are attached with the strands with a heating element. A heated keratin bond is used to attach the keratin hair extensions to your natural hair in the form of small bundles.

Unlike some of the other types of hair extensions (beaded and tape-in hair extensions), keratin hair extensions are attached to the client’s natural hair through the “strand-by-strand method” by direct fusion. This technique allows for a fresher and more natural-looking hair presentation.

If you desire completely natural-looking extensions that give you length and fullness and you don’t mind the price, then these hair extensions are for you. Keratin bonds must be kept at least at a distance of 1 cm from your scalp. To avoid strands getting knotted up, keep a distance of 1 cm gap between the bonds. Keep the density at 1 g/strand. Any more can make your hair too heavy. Avoid playing with the extensions; it may expose your scalp to stress.
